We’re excited to share that Gulf Coast Media recently highlighted the return of Little Bird’s Southern Grace Dinner series this November, bringing together three acclaimed Southern chefs for a one-night-only, five-course dining experience in Fairhope.
On Thursday, November 12, Chef Bill Briand, a five-time James Beard Award nominee, will welcome Chef Erik Niel of Easy Bistro & Bar, Main Street Meats, and Little Coyote, along with Chef David Bancroft of Acre and Bow & Arrow. Niel is a two-time James Beard Award nominee, while Bancroft is a five-time James Beard Award semifinalist.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a signature cocktail and time for guests to mingle with the featured chefs before the seated dinner begins. The reception is designed to give diners a chance to hear more about each chef’s story and culinary background before experiencing their work course by course.
Each chef will bring a distinct perspective to the menu. Bancroft will draw from his farm-to-table philosophy and the gardens and orchards at Acre, while Niel will showcase the influence of his Louisiana roots, French training, and the flavors of the Tennessee River Valley. Chef Bill will bring those perspectives together with Little Bird’s own Southern point of view, creating a dinner that reflects both collaboration and individuality.
Guests will also have the option to add wine pairings selected by Will Jones, Little Bird’s Wine Director, creating a complete food and wine experience throughout the evening.
The Southern Grace Dinner series is centered on more than the menu itself. Each gathering is designed around food, Southern hospitality, and connection, giving guests a chance to experience some of the South’s most celebrated chefs in an intimate Gulf Coast setting.
