The Daly Courtyard

A Garden Retreat Rooted in Heritage

Just beyond the dining room, framed by greenery and softened by the Fairhope breeze, the Daly Courtyard offers a tranquil space to gather, graze, and enjoy the outdoors. Named in honor of Virginia Eileen Briand’s maiden name, Daly, this open-air setting reflects her deep love for gardening, sunlight, and quiet moments spent among flowers. Virginia believed in tending to things—plants, people, and traditions—with patience and care. There was a rhythm to the way she moved through a garden—never rushed, always observing, always appreciating.

The courtyard brings that spirit to life. Surrounded by herbs, seasonal plantings, and hand-curated greenery, the space is lush but never overgrown—calm but still full of energy. It’s an extension of the restaurant’s soul: open, warm, and reflective of a Southern backyard where the table was set with intention and guests were treated like family. Every table placement, planter, and light fixture is a quiet nod to the spaces Virginia loved most.
