The Blackbird Room

An Elevated View, A Relaxed Spirit

Upstairs at little bird, just above the rhythm of the dining room and bar below, the Blackbird Room offers a quiet shift in perspective. Airy, open, and casually refined, this upstairs space is designed for flexibility—perfect for small gatherings, larger parties, or simply stepping back to take it all in. Inspired in part by Virginia Eileen Briand’s favorite Beatles song, “Blackbird,” the room carries a gentle, hopeful energy—a sense of rising above, finding light, and embracing the beauty of the moment.

The name is both a nod to the restaurant and a reflection of Virginia’s appreciation for the quiet spaces between life’s milestones. She believed in beauty without fuss, in rooms that felt lived-in and welcoming, and in the power of slowing down to truly connect. The Blackbird Room channels that spirit with ease.

Natural light spills in across exposed wood and warm textures. There’s movement and flow, but no rush. It’s a room for conversation, for catching up, for slipping into a more relaxed rhythm. From weekend afternoons to private lounge-style celebrations, the Blackbird Room invites guests to gather without structure—just good food, good drinks, and good company.

A Space Made for Casual Gathering

Unlike our more traditional dining spaces, the Blackbird Room offers open seating, a soft atmosphere, and a bit of altitude. It’s well-suited for private cocktail hours, intimate celebrations that lean more lounge than formal, overflow seating on lively evenings, or simply as a comfortable landing place after dinner in the main dining room. It’s where the energy softens, but the hospitality never does.
